Rainwater harvesting systems can be traced back thousands of years for use by ancient civilizations in managing water. Systems are becoming more prevalent in and around Central Texas with increased stress on traditional water infrastructure from extreme drought of late. The benefits are numerous: rainwater is naturally softer, meaning no need for additional water treatment, can be used for potable and non-potable applications, and complete systems are comparable in cost to a water well.
Hill Harvest Rainwater exclusively uses Aqualine Water Tanks manufactured in Round Mountain, Texas from American steel. Benefits of supporting local are three fold - no supply chain or freight delays, and custom tank sizing when applicable (1,500 to 65,000 gallon tank sizes are standard). They offer three different roof designs with varying slopes for a more historic look indicative of tanks from the past. Prices are offered "turnkey", meaning that tank install is included along with Aqualine's 20 year structural warranty. All tanks are installed with a Bartlett BPA-free, NSF certified potable liner.
We offer turnkey rainwater harvest systems for use in potable and non-potable applications. The systems installed solve water reliability concerns, onsite water storage for fighting fires (tanks installed with a fire department connection, "FDC" for short), water well storage for low GPM ground water, and storm water detention. When water is captured for potable applications, accessories such as water pumps, pressure tanks, sediment filters, carbon filters, and UV disinfection are installed to NSF/ANSI Standard 53 specs.
